Buying artworks

Gallerish.com does not take commission, so you are more than welcome to email the artist directly to inquire about the shipping and payment method. See next question on how to email an artist.
If the artist has enabled Paypal on Gallerish, you can click on the Buy this artwork... button on the artwork page and follow the instruction there to pay the artist using Paypal. Here is a sample artwork page with the Buy this artwork... button.

You can email an artist as follows:
- Go to any artwork page or the profile page of the artist.
- Click on the Email [artist name]... button.
- Fill in the email form.
- Click on the Send button.
Selling artworks

You can enable Paypal on Gallerish as follows:
- Sign in if not already done so yet.
- Click on My Gallery > My Account.
- Click on the Edit My Account... button.
- Check the Enable Paypal checkbox.
- Click on the OK button.
Once you enable Paypal using the steps above, the
Buy this artwork... button is shown on each of your artwork pages. Customers can click on this button, following the instruction there to pay you using Paypal. Here is a
sample artwork page with the
Buy this artwork... button.

You can showcase your artworks on your Facebook's personal profile as follows:
- Log on to your Facebook account.
- Near the top-right corner of your Facebook page, click Account.
- In the drop-down menu, click Application Settings.
- Click on Edit Settings for "Gallerish.com - Online Art Gallery".
- Click on the Profile tab.
- Click on (add) for Tab.
- Click on the Okay button.
If you have tabs for other applications already, the Gallerish tab might be hidden under the
>> tab. Select it from there.

The first 120 artworks are shown on your Facebook account. You can change the sort order of your artworks as described in the next question.

You can rearrange your artworks as follows:
- Click on My Gallery > My Inventory.
- Click on the Rearrange artworks... button.
- Drag and drop an artwork to a different position..

Gallerish is not involved in or responsible for transactions or payments, but here are a few tips that some artists have recommended to avoid scams:
- Sell your artworks locally.
- Use Paypal instead of cashier checks or money orders.
- Never give out your personal information, such as SSN.
- Check out scam alerts listed at Art Forum. Artists are encouraged to share advices there.
- Use the Email Statistics page to find out how many emails the customer-of-interest has sent out. If this number is high, it might be a scam, as most people would send only an email or two to inquire about artworks or events.
