Fine Art Paintings and Artist’s Promotions
My work has been shown in alternative venues from coast to coast. I have created and sold hundreds of paintings throughout my career. In recent years, live painting performances have become a way for me to share my love of Art with others.
My tendency as an artist has always been to play, experiment and edit; to take part in the capricious exchange between chance and intention.
My work is composed of multiple layers of paint, medium, found objects, bits of paper and fabric. I often come to a solution in a painting through deconstruction and subtractive process; scraping and scrubbing reveals the layers beneath. The layers combine together creating a base for color and texture to take on a life of their own.
I work to uncover that subconscious space where the physical world and the psyche meet. My work is designed to create a visual dialogue within the viewer.
